HUMAN

HUMAN
by Lollii-pii

The illustration demonstrates how humans were considered us the highest form of being among other living creatures in terms of spiritual values and intellectual capacities, among others. Humans were also designated to be the caretakers of every thing that belongs to the world.

Creatures born of the human flesh are capable of doing various things including logical thinking which separates them from other living creatures. Human beings are given the gift to speak and move on its own accord without even being dragged upon. Unlike animals who barely have their own shelter nor have the knowledge of the world, humans transcend all living creatures in all aspects. Humans can use their resources well but some times, they use it too well that it ends up too bad. Anyways, aside from being a high-ranked creature, human beings bore great knowledge over things wordly and even in spirit-connected subjects. They can also distinguish what is right from what seemed wrong. Humans can invent various inventions which will be use by the future generations. Humans are given a chance to learn and yearn. Humans have their own goals and plans while other living species can only do basic things and learn nothing from them. Humans are the chosen caretakers of the world.

"Oh Lord God you have made the heaven and the Earth with your great power and outstretched arms. To you nothing is impossible".

When I was in the midst of being held as a prisoner of that egregious wold where darkness is like no other and suffering was nothing but a pleasure, you have shown mercy to me by conferring me the light my mortal self longed for and for providing me some one whose teaching was of great significance to my persona. I have followed your counsel and am genuinely grateful unto you, Oh Lord. As a result, I earned a better life where a hint of dim light is nothing but a mere illusion.I thank you Lord for thy aid unto my pitiful condition and for your vast understanding. Amen

Temptation.

The desire of every human is made up much of complication. The reason why every individual seize the menace and recognize the outcome that conceded the wrong pathway, is our lowly wrong choices.

Our choices sometimes suffered us because of every design of temptation around the world, the serious decision that hard to defy because we value our own desire. Because of our disobedient we ended to the pinnacle judgment as we crave to something to make us satisfy and happy. It is hard to understand that sometimes we as a human take the wrong path and mistakenly made things for us to carry the said burden in our life.

Dealing the life in this earth is not easy to resist. Any decision that we could done depended for the situation that could bring to us by our tomorrow. Occasionally, we are facing the unpredicted trial that bring us to our failures and pains. These lead us to disappear from good to bad creature. In this situation God tested our free will, faith and fedility. 1Peter1:7: That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it betried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ.

Human beings are not perfect in dealing this kind of condition. Temptation rather is also needed. For us to open our mind and understand what is behind it during we encountered ourselves to be tempted. This is how I understand the word temptation when I was facing the difficulties to recover from anxieties and accept the temptation in my life. What I know before is I need it this moment and expecting that grabbing this enticement will makes me better and renew everything especially my feelings. But it is not too easy, because when I was in this kind of situation the dilemma begins in my heart.

Being a separated woman, I thought getting a relationship to other man is one way to defy my agony and pains that I possessed. But it made me trigger and decided to escape from the situation which add my emptiness. This emptiness became the burden of my daily life and again I found out myself to felt in love to another man which I know it is wrong. I can’t control to love this person and giving myself a chance to take this temptation in my life. But still I am falling and back again in the same dilemma.

Life changed everyday; this is the cycle of our life, passing, dropping and leaving. But from these cycles we got some lessons that made us understand what life all about is.

Realizing this kind of situation made me different. Especially my personality and the way I handled my life. Those temptation that I grabbed once became the path to become closed to Him who dear me to become a good one. He headed me to a path which He knows where I belong. He dearly said unto my heart that making a decision in our life is a toughed one unless you ask Him to help you. Base in my experience and every angle of circumstances in my daily life the good relationship with God was established.

Now, I enjoyed the life He promises. This only once in my life and if ever temptation come again, I know He is there to help me and resist the temptation because He cares for me.

Three things that we need to know:

  1. Be ready to deal the temptation that comes in our life.
  2. Avoid temptation (Mt. 26:41)
  3. Final Sanctifications.

Understanding the GREAT SALVATION

When God saw the condition of His scattered people; He saw they have no shepherd, No one who guides them, No one who protect them.

God made a decision to sent His PRECIOUS SON to us in order to guide and protect us spiritually.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him." JOHN 3:16-17. By His gracious love, God sent His Son to the world to SAVE us. This is how God care for our SALVATION.

Salvation is like a successful marriage. It takes two. It is not enough if only the woman is committed. One partner can be full of love and enthusiasm, while the other is cold and distant. Of course this will not work! If you want to enjoy human love, you have to receive it. This is also true concerning God’s love. Therefore we need to open our hearts to receive this gift of salvation God has for us and willingly follow Him. God loves you and He has a wonderful plan of peace, purpose, and fulfillment for you as an individual.

The plan is for you to obtain salvation through JESUS CHRIST His Son.

1 Thessalonians 5:9: “For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ”

What is Salvation?

Salvation is God’s love gift to those who believe in Him. Romans 1:16: “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth…”

Sometimes it is called the “new birth”, or being “born again.” John 3:3:”Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

This means that just as you were born physically into the human family, you are born spiritually into God’s family through salvation.

Salvation is having your sins forgiven. Luke 1:77”To give knowledge of slavation unto his people by the remission of their sins.” Romans 3:23-24 “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by this grace through the the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.”

But we can receive forgiveness of sins through salvation by believing in JESUS CHRIST.

Salvation is having fellowship with God”. Salvation gives you the assurance of eternal life. Romans 6:23:For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through JESUS CHRIST our LORD.”

Salvation gives you the freedom to pursue the ultimate purpose of God in your life.

Galatians 2:20 “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”

ONLY ONE LIFE

It matters so little how much you may own,

The places you've been or the people you've known;
For it all comes to nothing when placed at His feet,
It's nothing to JESUS, Just mem'ries to keep.

Chorus: Only one life, so soon it will pass;
Only what's done for Christ will last!
Only one chance to do His will;
So give to Jesus all your days,
It's the only life that pays,

When you recall you have but ONE LIFE!
You may take all the treasures from far away lands,
Take all the riches you can hold in your hands
And take all the pleasures your money can buy,

what will you have when it's your time to die?

The days pass so swiftly, the months come and go,
The years meltaway like now fallen snow;
Spring turns to summer, summer to fall,

Autumn brings winter, then death comes to to call!

Have you heard about this song? If not, I beg you to read it. After reading please understand what its meaning.

Yes, this song mean a lot for me, a song that opened my heart . While singing this song, I felt the joy in my heart, because HE let me understand the importance of my LIFE. It is not too late for us to be committed with Him, He given us more time to do our free will, the free will to Know Him, to Love Him and to Serve Him. Don't let our life be wasted, because whatever riches you have in this world, how famous you are in the universe, if you never find the will of God, then everything is worthless. Let be in God's hand to have a harmonious life. Be contented of what you have then feel the joy He offers. We have ONLY ONE LIFE and we don't know our time, it is not too late for you to enjoy the gracious love of our God. Through His Son we are SAVE. Don't let the world empowered you.

Mark 8:36. "For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?"

Simon from Cyrene Carries Jesus' Cross

"A man named Simon from Cyrene, the father of Alexander and Rufus, was coming from the fields to the city. The soldiers forced Simon to carry the cross for Jesus" (Mk. 15:21)
Simon grumbles beneath his breath. His patience is as scarce as space on the Jerusalem streets. He'd hoped for a peaceful Passover. The city is anything but quiet. Simon prefers his open fields. And now, to top it off, the Roman guards are clearing the path for some who-knows-which-dignitary who'll march his soldiers and strut his stallion past the people.
"There he is!"
Simon's head and dozens of others turn. In an instant they know. This is no dignitary.
"It's a crucifixion," he hears someone whisper. Four soldiers. One criminal. Four spears. One cross. The inside corner of the cross saddles the convict's shoulders. Its base drags in the dirt. Its top teeters in the air. The condemned man steadies the cross the best he can, but stumbles beneath its weight. He pushes himself to his feet and lurches forward before falling again. Simon can't see the man's face, only a head wreathed with thorny branches.
The sour-faced centurion grows more agitated with each diminishing step. He curses the criminal and the crowd.
"Hurry up!"
"Little hope of that," Simon says to himself.
The cross-bearer stops in front of Simon and heaves for air. Simon winces at what he sees. The beam rubbing against an already raw back. Rivulets of crimson streaking the man's face. His mouth hangs open, both out of pain and out of breath.
"His name is Jesus," someone speaks softly.
"Move on!" commands the executioner.
But Jesus can't. His body leans and feet try, but he can't move. The beam begins to sway. Jesus tries to steady it, but can't. Like a just-cut tree, the cross begins to topple toward the crowd. Everyone steps back, except the farmer. Simon instinctively extends his strong hands and catches the cross.
Jesus falls face-first in the dirt and stays there. Simon pushes the cross back on its side. The centurion looks at the exhausted Christ and the bulky bystander and needs only an instant to make the decision. He presses the flat of his spear on Simon's shoulders.
"You! Take the cross!"
Simon dares to object, "Sir, I don't even know the man!"
"I don't care. Take up the cross."
Simon growls, balances the timber against his shoulder, and steps out of the crowd onto the street, out of anonymity into history, and becomes the first in a line of millions who will take up the cross and follow Christ.
He did literally what God calls us to do figuratively: take up the cross and follow Jesus. "If any of you want to be my followers, you must forget about yourself. You must take up your cross each day and follow me" (Lk. 9:23 CEV).

Original Innocence- The otherside to original sin

In the movie Brother Sun, Sister Moon (the life story of Saint Francis of Assisi) there is one scene where after Francis is radically born again in the Spirit, leaves his riches, family, friends and community to go rebuild a broken down and abandoned church deep out in a rural community, and to live out and preach the Gospel with the peoples of the area, people from his old community attack and destroy his work at the church (because of jealousy and persecutions), and even kill one of the people involved in the rebuild project. Francis is so deeply grieved that this tragic event happened because of a sin in his life, or an error in his doctrine, that he set out to speak with the Pope himself.

Many profound side stories develop at this fantastic storyline develops, yet one of the more profound scenes of the movie is after Francis gains an audience with the Pope. Francis asks him "Your holiness, has this tragedy back at my church happened because of my sin in my life, or an error in my thinking or doctrine?" The Pope reassures young Francis of Assisi that his life is perfectly in step with the Spirit of God, and he is actually is so moved my Francis' life, that the Pope himself bows and kisses Francis' feet! (sending the religious people of that church into an uproar- those that say they can see, oftentimes cannot :-(

The Pope's answer was clear and sure "Young Francis, to often we become preoccupied with original sin, when we should be focused on ours and others original innocence.

I often meditate on what happened in Francis' mind and heart to turn him from a crusader warrior to one of the most profound men of God since the first century apostles?
The Prayer of Saint Francis of Assisi
Lord, make me an instrument of Thy peace;
where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
and where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master,
Grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;
to be understood, as to understand;to be loved, as to love;
for it is in giving that we receive,
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life.
Amen.

Reflection of our Sins.

The existence of a human being is a wonderful gift which values the so called LIFE. Life that enables us to determine in this world how we live naturally in our FAITH for His great creation, as HE offered it to us. Genesis 1:27-28 “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

God designed us as an extremely significant creation from His own image and likeness. He gives us the power over those creatures he had molded on this globe. But, the essence of God’s creation acquired Him a total disappointment because of the restlessness of every being and that means us. These caused the barrier of the relation between Man and God to wither. The cause why every generation would not be satisfied enough of what they have, though they often boast about it, because of PRIDE and DISCONTENT.

Genesis 3:4-5 “And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye earth thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.” The sins that made us to depart from this wonderful Garden of Love. Genesis 3:23-25 “ Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground form which he was taken. So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

Now, we propel the life after doing each desirable matter which caused us to depart from the love of God. And lead ourselves in our own dingy way of unrighteousness and conviction. The path which opens the door of insignificant choices. The choice which made Him shed a thousand tears like the pouring drops of rain of which every human being ought to not feel. His heartaches from His cavernous heart is of the least significant to us. The ocean flows of his teardrops when He feels the pain because of our obdurateness, until His wrath equipped us through the roaring thunderstorm and the heavy lightning from the mourning sky which carves death.

Look at our frenzied world! The reality which enables us to depart from His love. The love that we can't enjoy because of these hindrance which is produced by our sins. This some times makes it difficult for us to be a PERFECT HUMAN. Since, we were sinners; Romans 2:12, 3:10 "For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law; and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law'; As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one."

How depressing that our beloved Creator gained only nothing from his CREATION. Why are we, being special to Him, busted His great plans for us? We continue to bruise His heart which carved a mark in it- that matter mostly reflects the agony made by us.

Picture this with me, if you will?

Go with me for a moment to witness what was perhaps the foggiest night in history. The scene is very simple. A grove of twisted olive trees. Ground cluttered with large rocks. A low stone fence. A dark, dark night.

Now, look closer. Look closely through the shadowy foliage. See that person? See that solitary figure? What's he doing? Flat on the ground. Face stained with dirt and tears. Fists pounding the hard earth. Eyes wide with a stupor of fear. Hair matted with salty sweat. Is that blood on his forehead?

That's Jesus. Jesus, in the Garden of Gethsemane.

Maybe you've seen the classic portrait of Christ in the garden. Kneeling beside a big rock. Snow-white robe. Hands peacefully folded in prayer. A look of serenity on his face. Halo over his head. A spotlight from heaven illuminating his golden-brown hair.

Now, I'm no artist, but I can tell you one thing. The man who painted that picture didn't use the gospel of Mark as a pattern. When Mark wrote about that painful night, he used phrases like these: "Horror and dismay came over him." "My heart is ready to break with grief." "He went a little forward and threw himself on the ground."

Does this look like the picture of a saintly Jesus resting in the palm of God? Hardly. Mark used black paint to describe this scene. We see an agonizing, straining, and struggling Jesus. We see a "man of sorrows." (Isaiah 53:3 NASB) We see a man struggling with fear, wrestling with commitments, and yearning for relief.

We see Jesus in the fog of a broken heart.

The writer of Hebrews would later pen, "During the days of Jesus' life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the one who could save him from death." (Hebrews 5:7 NIV)

My, what a portrait! Jesus is in pain. Jesus is on the stage of fear. Jesus is cloaked, not in sainthood, but in humanity.

The next time the fog finds you, you might do well to remember Jesus in the garden. The next time you think that no one understands, reread the fourteenth chapter of Mark. The next time your self-pity convinces you that no one cares, pay a visit to Gethsemane. And the next time you wonder if God really perceives the pain that prevails on this dusty planet, listen to him pleading among the twisted trees.

The next time you are called to suffer, pay attention. It may be the closest you'll ever get to God. Watch closely. It could very well be that the hand that extends itself to lead you out of the fog is a nail pierced one.
